New Van Issues...
I'm not going to mention the make at the moment because I don't want to start WWIII...
My wife and I bought our first new caravan in April this year. We've done 2 trips and since we have had it...
1. The dealer did not check the installation of the external shower point and on our first night we managed to pump over 20 litres of water into the van because of a faulty coupling.
2. The Solar regulator went pop and shut down the ECU while we were on holiday in France (whenever the sun came out)
3. The main door keeps jaming shut and we have to prise it open with a screwdriver when the weather is hot
4. Bottom of a draw fell out (not fitted properly) and I have had to glue it back in with hot glue
5. Wine rack clips broke
6. Kitchen sink tap unit has started to leak
7. Many of the cupboard door handles are coming loose.
So the question is this; is this normal for a caravan? Do I just fix these issues myself. The dealer is 250 miles away and I cannot just keep taking the 'van back to them each time...
