Club Magazine, Why such small print?

First, being an old sailor and even longer carvaner, let me nail my colours to the mast. Both my wife and me are in our 80's but compus mentis but, unfortunately age does not come alone and, therefore, we accept that hearing and eyesight are somewhat diminished.
We read the Daily Telegraph without the need of magnification but, and hereby the reason for this dicussion, over half of the Club Magazine is now unreadable. I have a 3x loup which we have tried on the small print but,  unfortunately some of the printing
is still too small to read. If any of our fellow members have similar problems we would be grateful to see what solution, if any, they have found.
