Caravan covers are there any better than others?

Our caravan cover has been great it's protected the caravan but it's not lasted that long, well 4 years! It has got very thin on the top and now at the end of its life. How many years do people find that theirs has lasted? Does anyone else have this experience
or is this the norm? Do we just buy another one and if so are there any recommendations.
