BMW X3 Automatic sport or comfort when towing

Hi

Just looking for some information as to which automatic gearbox setting is used when towing.

First impression of the car (20d) is it is very stable with plenty of power, first auto box and even know Idoubt I would go back to a manual version.

So looking forward to the opininons of owners who have towed and owned a X3 for longer than I have
