Battery chargers for motorhome batteries

After non use my motorhome battery was flat last year so I borrowed a charger off a friend who uses it to charge large batteries and this charged the battery ok. The battery has gone flat again recently but I would prefer to buy my own battery charger and
also perhaps a trickle charger as I believe they are a good product. I would appreciate any reccomendations for which make, types/sizes to buy and which to avoid.
