Speedometer cab for MK Ford Transit moterhomee

Hi I have a Ford Transit Herald Valencia automatic M reg (95) think this is a MK5. I am looking for a speedometer cable and it is proving very difficult, looked on the internet, spoken to my local garage, someone i know has checked a local scrap yard but
no luck. So any ideas where I can look for one? .thanks

    Have you thought about measuring the cable and then looking for something possibly longer than yours as the extra length can be lost between the speedo head and gearbox. Just as an after thought doesn't the 1995 transit have a electronic transducer for the
    speedo, my Ganada Scorpio '94 model had and this might explain the lack of supply.
