Pushing and holding the car button should work. Otherwise it will stop once sited and on hook up!

Glad it's ok. Was trying to upload pics from our manual but massive technical issues at our end. Here is the relevant bit anyway as a pic test:

So sorry, just seen tha bananas in the back of the picture. It's always a professional service... Laughing

On ferry now just leaving Dover,

have tried holding in button but still bleeping looks like I will disconnect battery, I guess it's telling me battery is defunct!

appreciate your help that's a drink I owe you.

Ours wasn't defunct, seem to remember OH pushed all buttons in desperation which seemed to stop it. I particulary like the description of a "rather useless message that is of no use to the end user"... Those were the days.

    Have a fantastic trip.

I'm just astonished that anyone could have the nerve to release to market a product ....or an instruction manual...like thatFrown.    Even the
usual 'excuse' of poor translation by someone who thinks they can write English is clearly not applicable here.

Anyway, hope you solve it before tonight!

Back then Buccaneers were built at Full Sutton nr York! An English manual through and through (with a touch of Yorkshire humour?). But I'm going off topic...

Disconnecting the battery and/or ear plugs sounds like a good temporary solution. Hope you're already happily asleep...

Thanks Brue, I hope so too.

Trevorstretch, have just made the connection with your other thread (always a little behind). We have a very similar van, and although we were no use whatsoever this time, I hope we might be able to help in the future. But I'm sure you'll have got the hang
of everything in no time... We salute your bravery!

Hi guys first time on Internet, and thanks for all the help,

after pulling into a rest holt for the night I was just about to disconnect battery when I thought I would to the desperation thing ie hitting all the buttons !! amzingly it went silent!!!.

we are now fully set up just outside larochelle, al systems working ok, did have drama last night though as sat nav took us and caravan into centre of a small village heading down one way street, we managed to gridlock the town for ten mins while I reversed
the unit back out onto a roundabout, !!!!! All good fun!
