fitting a full size spare wheel

Hi all,

I've replaced the space saver spare wheel with a full size tyre and steel wheel rim, does this increase the kerbweight of my Kuga?  As it stands my combination is fine I just wondered if it will give me a bit more leeway with the loading up.
