I've just got back from a week in Northumberland, and was packing everything away, when I thought, why do caravan/camp sites not have items to hire, in my case, a vacuum cleaner.  Many, many years ago, when me and OH travelled down to the south of France
(we had our trailer tent), we could hire a fridge - great as the weather was really hot, and we didn't have a fridge (although we had a cool box).  I would've appreciated a vacuum cleaner, many times when I'm packing up
