Lonely mothers
There has been something on the TV news discussion today about Lonely Mothers (don't know whats being said as I'm at work, and the volume is switched off). Anyway, I'm assuming that there are now plans to help lonely mothers. What a palaver
Why don't said mothers try taking children out to places where they can meet other mothers/children (its called making friends and socialising). After tidying up and other odds and sods in the mornings, I was always out, ie, shopping, taking said children
out for walks, even days out on the buses (no car). My hubby worked shifts and sometimes I wouldn't see him for most days, ie, working or sleeping. I was never lonely. These mothers, surely, have legs. What about the elderly, who live on their own, may
go weeks before seeing anyone, and are infirm? No one bothers about them?
