Solar trickle charger and caravan cover dilemma

Hi. is anybody using a solar powered trickle charger when also having a caravan cover fitted? We want to keep our battery topped up when in storage. If so how has the panel been fixed - the only solution we can think of is Velcro on cover and rear of solar panel. Any other ideas/ tips welcome please.
