Allocated pitches

Hi there,

just wondered if others have had this, 2 couples going for the weekend, one can have the whole weekend off and the other cannot leave until after school finishes. You have booked a site and they let you choose your pitch, but will not let you reserve a space
for the other couple or even pay for them and leave your car on the pitch. We were told against all rules. But at Some sites they do allow you to be pitched together? We had to choose a pitch away from others hoping that at least one pitch near us would be
free. Surely there is so way around this?
