Receipt from a CL

Do any of you ask for a receipt when using a CL.  We asked once and the owner was mortified and said they woudl give us one later but this never materialised.

A CL owner can insist on seeing your membership card, but you cannot insist on a receipt so maybe you are aiding and abetting defrauding the government of tax?  LOL!
