Fitting a second battery?

We have a twin axle Lunar Delta TI with a transverse bed which has plenty of room underneath the bed.  There is also a locker door that allows you to access under the bed.  The caravan also has a 120w solar panel which charges the 110amp battery

We are thinking of doing a lot more off grid caravanning, but as we are using a Sky box (42w max) and a 25w TV along with all the other stuff running off the 12v battery, we figure that we will use up to 55ah a day.  On a good day the panel can input up
to 85ah, but worse case sceario probably only about 30ah on a cloudy day.

Therefore we are considering installing a battery under the bed so that the battery can be accessed from the outside.  Putting the battery anywhere else will have a knock on effect on the nose weight.  As the battery box will be a lot smaller than the current
locker door, we are not sure how to get around this problem as the battery will need to vent to the outside just in case.

Has any one else attempted to fit a second battery and how did they go about it?  Thanks.
