Insurance DD payments

If you need to pay off the insurance by DD over the year, would you prefer to pay a larger deposit in order to keep the monthly repayments over the year down? 

Obviously they probably would not be able to offer this if the outstanding amount was below £100.

Would you like to be able to put down a larger deposit?
