Similar site to Ferry Meadows?

We live in Essex & are after a similar site to Ferry Meadows - right next to a park for children aged 8-14 yrs for bike trails & playgrounds.  FM always getting booked up now. Willing to travel about hour any direction. Thanks

    Two sites that you could take a look at are Stamford or Graffham Water. Stamford doesn't have a toilet block but family cycle rides in the woods and a good play area next door. Grafham has cycling and activities around the reservoir, along with a good children's
    play area. The site also has an open air swimming pool open in the summer.Both sites are in the same area as Ferry Meadows.  Hope this helps.

    The C&CC site Kingsbury Waterside Park in the Midlands.

    We are two O.A.Ps currently at Grafham. From our arival we said our kids , gkids would love it here. Cycle rides, walks, pool, playground, nice wardens and peace and quiet.

    Oh and its got a resident great horned owl to entertain.
