Caravan Club Credit Card Reward Points

Hi,

I have recently found out that an elderly couple of who rally with us and use the Caravan Club credit card have lost thousands of reward points because of the three year drop off rule. I use the Caravan Club credit card but was unaware of this rule until
they told me.

Does anybody know if this is a new rule? If so, when was it introduced?
