Lighting on Club Sites

Does anyone have any views on the lighting at club sites?  Living, as I do, in an area where there is no street lighting, I'm used to it being dark so it wouldn't bother me at all if the lights were switched off all night(or after midnight, say).  It might
save the club some money in running costs. I have a torch I can use if I need it. 

Any thoughts anyone?
