Gas supply to Kadac
hi I have a Bailey Orion 430/4 and a Kadac stove, my old van had an external BBQ socket, don't want to go to the expense of having one fitted or carry an extra bottle, any ideas on how I could utilise the one main bottle in the van. Any advice ideas would

Never having been interested in a Cadac I don't know what the fitting is. If it's a straight forward propane fitting you can buy a 1 1/2 metre length hose. You dont say where the bottle is front or side? I think you could buy a double takeoff thingy so that you could use the Cadac without disconnecting every time and reconnecting to the Cadac. Hope you sort it snosball.

I would look into fitting a quick release valve in the gas locker from a tee join fitted between the regulator and the caravan appliances.

I have a Cadac BBQ and same as you wanted to travel light without a second cylinder for the BBQ. i experimented with a long length of pipe from the van cylinder to the BBQ so I didnt have to lift the cylinder out each time etc.
But the sun/view/chairs etc never seemed to be in the right spot, so I aquired from ebay a Campingaz 907 cylinder which is much lighter and can easily be moved with the BBQ to whatever position I wanted. I also bought a special adapter pigtail thingy that
will allow me to use it as a spare supply for the van should my one calorlite run out...0 -
