Fiat Ducato grille

Has anyone had any trouble with a 2014 Autotrail Vline 610 on a  Ducato Van with the front grille. We have,  and wondered if anyone esle has encountered any trouble. The grillle wasn't very well made and allowed a stone to chip straight through the radiator
leaving us off road all weekend and with big Bill on a 3 month old campervan!. We have been told it is a "freak accident" and first reported. We now have a mesh fitted behind the grille (extra expense). see main forum for the story. We have tried to get some
sort of warranty protection from Autotrial and Fiat but got no where...Let me know
