Awning Skirt.

Seen quite a few people using these, and one did not come with our van. Question is do we really need one, would it have any benefit, as I have been storing stuff under the van on site, and fitting a skirt will make it just awkward to get to stuff. Do people
find these things useful and are they a good idea? Are there any aternatives we can consider.
