Battery caravan charging

Hi we have just had a motor mover fitted and would like to keep batter fully charged.do we put the RED to on in caravan then once we plug in our caravan to 13point in on car does this enable caravan battery to charge or by connecting to mains on site does
this also charg caravan battery?
