Help - dead battery!

Hi Ive got 2 questions to pose - 1 is that we recently had to have a few things fixed on our caravan whilst still under warranty. The caravan ended up being with the caravan dealer for almost 4 weeks (we were told 1 possible 10 days approx) and when
we finally got it back the battery had fully discharged and is now dead so we have had to buy a new one. Do you think the dealer should be liable for the cost of this? Also we have put it in the caravan but now nothing works apart from the alarm and the motor
mover. Any ideas what the problem could be? Many thanks!
