looking forward to Wimbledon and the grass court season always seems a better game when played on grass, prefer the serve and volley tactics

Enjoying watching British player Marcus Willis playing Federer,  on centre court. He's doing ok at the moment,  holding his own!

Two things to look forward to . First is seeing the Scottish player Andy Murray doing well for his country.

Second is watching the heavyweight female champion " Muscles Williams " .  out- power her lady opponents.

    K Cool

    Just an aside....

An increasing trend, particularly in men's singles, is the annoying habit of towelling down after almost every point!! Nearly as annoying as inspecting four or five tennis balls before knocking most of them back.

I think this goes back to Greg Rusedski.

Yeah what's he up to now ? Anyone know , or do I have to google it Undecided dissapointed with fedara today , and very angry with Mcenroes
commentary , I know he's Rionic's coach but it was like sitting in on a coaching session Sad

    So come on Murray Smile

Rusedski commentates on British Eurosport, good easy win for Murray should be fresh for the final on sunday, cant see him losing, think age is catching up with Federer but would have liked to see him in the final (which would have probally been his last)

Fingers crossed for Murray on Sunday . No Williams duo for the ladies final

What to watch tennis? British F1? Tour de France? Pity can't record two and watch one!

On the news -- Muscles Williams wins the championship for the women's title again ---- 7 times the champion.

Serena Williams certainly can out-power all her rivals -- Congrats to the winner.

It was a brilliant victory and he deserves all the plaudits he gets. Can we look forward to Sir Andrew becoming a three times BBC Sports Personality of the year? Happy

(BTW, anyone know why he split from Ivan Lendl in the first place? How ironic that a player who never won Wimbledon himself is now achieving that by proxy!)

Lendl didn't want to do all the extra travelling involved in being Andy's full time coach. He had a lot of other committments. Think that they've come a special agreement that he helps at selected times.
