Wifi at Southport

I am just back fom a week in sunny Southport.  I was not able to use the wifi.  I was ok on other CC sites earlier in the year.  I am using the same tablet now at home so that's ok too.  Everything was supposed to be fine but I could not get past the CC web site main page except CT a bit but very unreliable.  Couldn't even get emails or weather.  Kept getting network error.  Rang Airangel helpline but got nowhere, blamed my tablet.  The engineer was supposed to ring me but didn't.  The site checked too and were told there were no issues.

So it's a week's subscription wasted.  Has anybody else had problems there?  I didn't anticipate any on the newly redeveloped site.
