Gas Grill problem

I have been on before regarding this problem, whilst this is a Thetford which appears to be the one widely fitted  by most caravan manufacturers I believe others have similar problems. I thought I had cured the problem at the end of last season but alas
no. After trawling through the. discussions it does appear that my last option is the coupler. Can I just ask if anyone has replaced this ( I can't believe they haven't) if so, as this involves ' Gas' are we allowed to do the job. It would appear that to get
a service guy in you're talking about £125 . for a couple of hours work,  i would be grateful of some guidance.

many thanks

Tony

To work on any gas appliance you have to be registered with Gas Safe.

My mobile engineer charges £40 an hour plus the bits. I recon he could change the thermo coupler on the grill well within the hour. Money well spent IMO.

I think, and stand to be correcrted, that to work on gas is legal if it is for yourself. However, if you are at all unsure  DO NOT TAKE THE RISK. They say the use of capitol letters is shouting and I don't apologise for using as it is needed with gas.
