Caravan Club insurance

Hi

I'm a new Caravan Club (CC) member only having joined a couple of weeks ago....I'm also new as a motohome owner - just taking delivery of a new Autotrail Commanche. I thought I would leave a comment re my first encounter of the CC services. I've just telephoned the CC for an insurance quote for my new motorhome only to be told that "none of their underwriters are prepared to insure a vehicle of that value". You can't get insurance from the organisation that promotes and supports caravans and motorhomes? To me this seems really odd and not a good start! Any thoughts.
