Towbar help please BMW x3

Could anyone please give me some advice. new to caravanning - in fact Havent yet got a caravan, but currently looking to buy our first one. Already own a bmw x3 xdrive 20d Msport (manual gearbox) 2012 model. I need to get a towbar fitted as it dosent currently
have one. does anyone else own an x3, and could you advise if i have to go back to bmw and get them to fit a towbar, or can i go to any reputitable towbar fitting garage? Many thanks for any replies.
