Dear Sir/ Madam,

CAR TRANSPORTER VEHICLES EITHER EMPTY OF CARS OR FULL OF CARS CREATE TERRIBLE WIND TURBULENCE ON MOTORWAYS AND CARAVANNERS SHOULD BE WARY OF THIS.

IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT DIRECTION THE WIND IS BLOWING THESE TYPE OF VEHICLES CREATE VIOLENT TURBULENCE WHAT EVER THE ROAD CONDITIONS AND SHOULD BE OVERTAKEN WITH EXTREME CARE AND CAUTION AND TREATED WITH A GREAT DEAL OF RESPECT.

WE TOW WITH A LANDCRUISER SO WE FEEL O.K. BUT EVEN WITH SUCH A HEAVY TOW VEHICLE WE STILL EXPERIENCE MASSIVE TURBULENCE WHEN OVERTAKING THESE VEHICLES ON THE MOTORWAY. IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE WHETHER THEY ARE FULLY LADEN OR EMPTY THE TURBULENCE
IS VERY SEVERE.

I WONDERED WHETHER OTHER MEMBERS HAVE COME ACROSS THIS PROBLEM WHEN TOWING CARAVANS ON MOTORWAYS?

I FEEL THE CARAVAN CLUB SHOULD DO MORE TO MAKE MEMBERS AWARE OF THIS PARTICULAR PROBLEM.

YOURS FAITHFULLY
