Why no club sites in Essex?

I'll get the personal agenda out of the way, yes I live in Essex, and yes Essex and the people who live here do sometimes get a bad press. Putting that aside, we have a some fantastic countryside with pretty villages, lovely coastal areas as well as being close to London and all that has to offer. Not a single club site though, just wondered why.
