Motorbike Towing

I have a 3500kg Autocruise Starspirit and want to tow a 200kg motorbike, ideally laterally across the back end to cut down on the length etc. I have been told by the company that fitted the towbar to the unit that a 'toehitch' mounting wouldn't be suitable
as the chassis is not strong enough. 2014 will be my first full summer as a motorhome owner and need advice on what kind of trailer to buy. Any advice would be gratefully received.
