We're staying at the Scarborough Site as from Sunday.

Been there once before but lost the list of 'still need to visit'

Your suggestions please.

Should be dog friendly (mostly) and we don't mind walking a few miles.

Any suggestions gratefully received, no matter how obscure

An excellent site we stayed there over Easter. All the local seaside towns are worth a visit if you like that type of thing, there's the Steam railway - The North Yorkshire Moors Railway and on their website there are details of the walks you can do from
    it.

The site has a very good information room so have a look in there when you get there.

Scarborough to Filey walk along cliff tops is lovely, have enormous fish and chips in Filey and the catch the bus back to Scarborough. About 11 miles, if memory serves.

Cayton Bay has pill boxes and tank traps, if you like that sort of thing.

We love the Harbour Bar for take away ice cream and the North Bay Railway open sided train ride is quite a 'white knuckle' experience in bad weather.

And speaking of Peaseholme Park, everyone should see the Naval Re-enactment at least once in their life time...

We have been to the Black Bull Cravan site at leassdt 10 times in the last 2 years in Pickering - great site next to the Black Bull pub. Love the steam railway and pickering market. Try this you wont be dissappointed

We always enjoy walking from North Bay to the South Cliffs. Coffee in the cafe there and an open top bus back.
