hobby caravan

Hi all having just returned from the Isle of Wight where we were pictched close to a Hobby caravan and was impressed with the look of it, we are now considering bying one ( second hand ) but having told a friend they have told us to be wary due to towing
issues ie they are really heavy and quite dufficult.

I would appreciate any advice please from current owners or previous owners and your comments
