Bookings waiting list

How frustrating is it when all the bookings for a particular site have gone and you keep having to log on to check the availability - how about a waiting list on line, you could have it so you would get an email or text message when one becomes free, put
a time limit on a reply, say an hour, if you don't reply to book then it goes to the next on the list.
