Cornwall in winter

Being a resident of Cornwall, it is irksome that from early November until around eastertime, there is but one Club Site (Truro) open in the whole of Cornwall. Does no one wish to visit here, and no local members wish to use the sites throughout the winter
months, and this in the area which has about the mildest climate of the whole of Britain, and probably welcomes more tourists per square mile than any equivalent area in the summer? It doesn't sound very logical...
