Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTI (160) exclusive

Thought about an Insignia 2.0CDTI SRI but found the ride very stiff and seats uncomfortable, now thinking about the same engine in the exclusive which has softer suspension and seats. Does anyone tow with one of these cars and is the suspension stiff enough,
my van has an MTPLM of 1250kg.
