Hi, I've read a lot of posts on the 'net re tvs and satellite set ups for campervans/caravans but I'm still a little confused about my best options.

Experienced members out there will think "what's the fuss about? " but I don't want to buy the wrong things..

I have a campervan with only one 240v socket and one 12v outlet (cigarette lighter at front of van). I don't want a fixed tv, i.e. I don't want  a wall bracket, drop down tv, etc - I will remove the tv after each trip. Size of tv is restricted by placing it on top of the fridge. probably 19" or less. I don't have an aerial point and don't really want to put one in if I can help it. I've looked at the Cello tvs - with and without bilt in satellite receiver. I'm confused as to which satellite dish would suit best. I've seen "suitcase types", ones with or without recievers. budget is tight, hence potentially buying Cello/Finlux 12v tv. Is it better to buy a cello with built in satellite or one without and buy a dish with receiver kit?

Looking at my van, I have a metal ladder on the back doors. There's a possibility to attach dish/aerial there?? In terms of the cable coming into the van, I've seen some kits come with a section of flat cable. Is this common.. As I don't want to fit an aerial point, the best way to run the cable from a dish to the tv without having a window open must be the flat cable??

I have some pictures that might explain these mad ramblings (don't know how to post them her).

thanks.
