How to fill your drain pipes from the basin, sink and shower to cleanse them? This is a useful tip for winterising. Drink a bottle of Croft Original and a bottle of port! In a few hours keep the tops. Wind insulating tape, or other waterproof tapes around
the corks until you achieve an interference fit to the drain holes, plug in and voilá - cheap drain plugs which can be left in all winter after draining the system, keeping bugs out. Hint, port tops are best as they have a milled edge, but I do like Croft
Original as the tops are environmentally friendly; they're green. Cheers!
