Remote control vehicle radio / cd

We have been trying to find a remote controlled vehicle radio / CD unit but can't seem to find one.

Do any of you trusty folks know of one. We would like to control the unit from the back of the van as we often listen to the radio before going off to sleep and again when we wake. We don't really want a separate unit at the back as we have speakers all
round.

Any ideas ?

    After a good deal of searching we found the Sony 602 fitted the bill in our previous m/h.  Our  new to us Auto trail tracker unit for TV , Radio etc. also has a remote with it fitted as standard.

    Thanks for that susiepops. It appears that unit is not available now. All we want is a fairly standard CD / radio but with remote control facility. Are they made as we can't find one.

    We have a remote controled Pioneer dvh-340ub in our caravan, though it has a DVD player built in so might be a little more than you were looking for.

    Have you tried asking in Halfords? They used to sell a Sonich unit which had a remote control. Or try a local In Car Entertainment (ICE) specialist.

    Thank you for that mollysmummy. That actually looks as if that would do nicely. Will be making a few enquiries on Monday. Did you fit yourselves of have it fitted.?

    It was already fitted ..... I think it must've been standard fit as there are a couple of points n the caravan with the audio connections to/from it. You connect it to a telly via the red/yellow/white audio connections & you play a DVD through the head unit
    & get the sound via the radio seakers. It's pretty good so far .... it has more settings for this that & t'other than you'd need in a life time Laughing

    That's really kind of you Mummy. And thank you Simon. I can pop to halfords tomorrow. Keeping fingers x. I like the idea of DVD link up. They seem to be about £170 ish so not too bad either.
