Read on another thread somewhere a post mentioning retaining certain England players to keep thier cap count up. Does anyone else agree that too much is made of 100+ caps these days, when players may often only feature in half a match before being substituted.
Not to mention the standard of some of the opposition since the proliferation of new countries in Europe.

I don't think any of the present crop of 100+ guys match the achievements of Billy Wright, Bobby Charlton and Bobby Moore. Anyone else agree?
