Well the site may be "working" again, but I've just typed up a review for Thatado Farm which we visited last weekend. However, as soon as I click "submit" I get that damned error message. Also, the reviews which I know were there previously seem to have disappeared. It's frustrating for us, but it must be really very annoying for CL owners who I imagine depend on reviews more than club sites thenselves! Yell. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

M, you may find that the review is there. I had the same problem and I see that one of them is there on the appropriate page.

Is there still a problem with missing reviews?

Spent a long time last night looking for a suitable site for a holiday but most of the reviews were from 2013 or 2014.

Liked the look of one site but the latest review was from NTH from 2014. A lot could have changed by then.

Which site was that, D&V? I might be able to give you a more recent picture of it. I would not have written a second review if a previous one of mine was still showing.

Hi Nellie, I knew you were going to ask that but I looked at that many reviews and sites over 4 counties that I cannot remember which site it was.

I know you gave it a good write up and as you are well travelled we respect your opinion, it's just that it was an oldish review, and as I say, things can change.

I know it wasn't Skybarn because we both know how bad that place is. LaughingWink

    Thanks anyway.

I have just done a couple of reviews for the CL's we used on our last trip. Both of the CL's had four/five vans on site while we were there so are well used. I noted that until mine the last reviews were from March 2016 for one and last summer for the other.
It seems that some users are not writing reviews as often. UndecidedHas anyone else noticed this,or can explain why? I try to write a review
for all CL's we visit, as I find well written ones very useful.

There's a simple reason why CL users who like a site don't write reviews - and I have been told this directly a number of times by those that stay with us half jokingly:

"We don't write reviews, because the more 5 star reviews you get, the busier you will be and we won't be able to find a pitch when we want one"...

As we have lots of reviews, it doesn't concern me overly (not to say I don't like them!), but for those CL's who are starting up, half a dozen good reviews can be a lifeline..

How petty can you get. Its probably the same people who moan about Cls closing.Wonder how often those that wont review acfually use those sites Seems they dont care about the Cl owners who are desparate to fill empty spaces.

Looking at the reviews for 2 sites we have previously stayed on our reviews are missing.

In fact according to this site I have only left 6 reviews. I know it to be many more as we always leave a review after a first visit.

Used to have the same thing on CS's if you said anything remotely negative.

Not to write a review just because you really like the site and want to be able to get a pitch when you want one seems a bit petty. On one of the CL'S  we stayed on (which was excellent by the way) the owners commented that their season had been quiet. The
CL had some good reviews but the most recent was over 12 months old, I did wonder if the lack of recent reviews  had made any difference.

I suppose if the CL has enough regular visitors to fill it most of the year it doesn't matter as much, but how many cls are that lucky?  Undecided

A couple of years ago I wrote a  review mentioning the good points about the site but it also had a couple of very damming points in it. The review is still on there so I don't think they remove your review just because it is bad.

Sorry, I didn't mean only poor reviews had gone awol.

One particular review was for a site we are visiting soon, my original review was a glowing one but has alas gone missing.
