We spent a great day here on Wednesday. Mrs M had bought me a "falconry experience" for my birthday - and what a great experience it was. We've ddriven past many times and thought it didn't look much from the road, but once inside you get an ideal of the
scale of the place. I think they told us it was 40 acres and they have over 100 brids of various types, mainly hawks and owls, also a few parrots and a very noisy kookaburra! The two guys who run it, Andy & Mick obviously regard it as a labour of love - they
are real enthusiasts! Spent half a day with Andy, included handling and flying some of the birds - what a priviledge and how spectacular and beautiful they look from close up.

If you get a chance to visit when you're down here I urge you to go and support them - they have 3 separate flying displays throughout the day so you could spne the whole day there and still go back for more. If you're really lucky, at the end of the day
you can watch Andy flying his Golden Eagle - breathtaking!

A geat place to visit for all the family and they even have kennels with a plentiful supply of water so if you have a dog with you, it is well looked after.
