Booking Day frenzy avoided?

I notice from this month's magazine that the (much maligned on here) C&CC have decided to replace their opening day booking in November with a rolling 12 month programme where members will be able to book up to a year in advance. I must admit I haven't studied the details but it's something that many on here have advocated as an alternative to "booking frenzy" day. Anyone think the club will follow up and head down this route?
