I'm sure there once was a thead titled "share your favourite walks" but for the life of me I can't find where it's gone and neither can google! So I've ad to start afresh with this.

For anyone staying at Merrose Farm this year and wanting a couple of great walks try these :

1) Drive down to St Snthony ead and park in the NT car park. Follow the coast path with the sea on your right till you reach Towan beach. Follow the obvious access road inland. Cross a road and go through the other NT car park. Take the footpath signposted
"Place via Percuil River" and follow the estuary along to Place Quay thorugh the woods. At Place Quay turn left and walk up the road for about 200 yards. Turn right at a footpath signposted St Anthony church (take time to look inside the church which is tucked
away in the woods. The you're back on the coastal footpath and soon the lighthouse at St Anthony comes nto view. Follow the coast path al the way back. It's abut 6 miles all together.

2) To visit St Mawes but avoid traffic comgestion and high parking charges, drive instead to St Just in Roseland and park at the church there (honesty box £1 all day). The church is right down by the river estuary and worth exploring. Then follow the road
past the church and quayside to reach the coast path with the sea on your right. Follow t all the way through fields until you come out at St Mawes castle then walk down nto the village. return by the same route. About  miles.

Both walks are reasonably easy with no very steep gradients. Enjoy!
Happy. Use left and right arrows to navigate.
