Big Day Approaches!
Some time ago I posted that it was our 40th anniversary this year and so we'd decided to treat ourselves to a special holiday - a week in the Canadian Rockies followed by a week cruising to Alaska. Well, Wednesday is the big day (as long as that bloomin'
Icelandic volcano behaves itself!). The alternative of a fortnight in the van at Chpel lane met with stony silence (well not exactly silence, but you get the drift!)
Got all our foreign currency, passports and visas sorted, Harry's off to stay with 5 canine friends just down the road, Mrs M's even bought me some new clothes for the cruise (can't imagine why, I bought some myself about 6 years ago! 
).
So, since it's very unlikely I'll be allowed anywhere near a computer for the next couple of weeks, I'll take this opportunity to wish everyone well over that time and look forward to seeing how the dog threads and Sunday departures have changed over that
fortnght. May post a bit tomorrow, but if not toodle-oo!
