Hi we recently purchased a new Autotrail Comanche which came with pre installed media pack which included a built in Sat Nav. After the hicup of it freezing all the time, which was due to a faulty system which was quickly replaced by a new unit we thought
we would give it a try, Being a lorry driver I know my way around but it was worth a go. It worked fine until be got nearer to the site we were booked on which was Fairlight near Hastings, and then it started to try and send us down single lane tracks bearing
in mind that my vehicle is 28ft long and I tow a car using common sense I ignored its suggestions and followed the directions in the Caravan Club book. .Can anyone explain to me why Autotrail have installed a Sat Nav into a vehicle that is clearly larger than
a car and not made allowances to enable a change to the vehicle length and weight, as the Sat Nav assumes you are a car and can handle Single Track roads. Just for information I have a Snooper Lorry version Sat Nav which has been used several times before
it takes the long way round but on roads adequate for the vehicle so why havent Autotrail used the same system,

As anyone else experienced the same problems with this type of built in Sat Nav, personally I dont think this will be an option i will using on my vehicle again, and feel sorry those peope who are paying extra to have the inadequate system installed on there
