Hi folks, I have been very quiet lately partly because I have recently gone to iphone (and ipad} from android but now find I can't post to CT or even log in. Anyone had similar issues? I am on my PC to enter this.

So do I mate, It's very frustrating! I know you can do it but BOTH my phone and pad do the same thing so I am wondering if it's anything to do with the settings or something - any suggestions welcome.

Have you just had an upgrade Merve. There have been issues with certain Apple products after one of the latest upgrades. Apple are working to send out a fix.

I have an i-phone 5 and it won't let me log in to CT if I use the google app on my phone but if I enter CT using the Safari app it lets me log in and post. Don't know the reason mostly I just use my laptop to post on here

I don't have any problems using my Pad or Phone. Are you using Safari, Merve and have you enabled cookies?

I tether my Samsung to my iPad and never have a problem logging on to CT.  Only a lack of signal would be a problem

Hello Merve. I use both iPhone and iPad, and a Mac Book Pro, and have few problems with any of them, using Safari. One thing this website doesn't like is Apple emoticons, it seems to be what causes a lot of the error pages. Hope you get sorted.

Merve, I have used an iPad 3 for three years and never had a problem using the safari browser. However, just checked on Google Chrome and I also cannot log in. Never normally use it so don't know if this is a recent problem. Apple have now released iOS 9.3.1 and that has loaded OK with no issues onto both my pad and iphone 5S, so it unlikely to be an issue with that.

When we are out and about in the van, I use the OH's iPad 2 and have been able to log on with Safari.

Merve, I doubt it is the ipad! it's the interface I think(don't ask me any questions I'm repeating parrot fashionEmbarassed) I use
my iPads 100% on here, I've just done another update to 9.3+(whatever it is now) I did have problems when I moved from my Lappy to ipad. I contacted Rowena at the time & had an IT type sort it, it was a couple of years ago now. I get probs with Chrome not
    allowing a sign in too.

merbe, IOS 9.3 caused internet access issues with certain versions of iPhone and iPad, hence the hastily released 9.3.1

i haven't updated any of our Apple units yet (despite constant reminders) you could try 9.3.1 if not already on it

If I want to post a reply on ct,I can only do it through safari, same as bookings. If I do it through Google I can't sign in if all this makes sense. Sorry forgot to mention I'm using a iPad 2

Thanks everyone - the usual help as expected!! I'll try through Safari and let you know. The thing is, I know I've posted from my iphone and can't or couldn't work out why I now couldn't. I'll let you know! and Thanks again!

Hi folks! YES! That's obviously the answer. I have to go in through Safari. Not ideal as I have to book in everytime when the android remembered my log in details but at least now I don't have to switch the PC on every time I need to CT. thanks one and all.

Merve, if you go to settings then touch on safari on the list of apps on the left, this will open a series of options on the right.

One  of the options is Autofill. Touch on this and this opens another list. Select names and passwords and push the button to green. When you go back to CT and login it should then ask you if you want it to remember login details.

My earlier post wasn't very helpful so I've been trying to remember how I managed it. I've bookmarked the CC home page so that when I open Safari it's there on the left of the screen. Somehow there is a link to the CT login page this appears at the top right
of the page it's a solid red square with a white upper case 'D'. Tapping that gets me to  log in page where the fields for user  name and password are, below the password field there are the words 'remember my login details' and a little box, tap that and
it should remember your details. Sometimes it forgets again but mine now has both my user name and password coloured in a block of yellow. Now all I have to do is tap on the red login icon. Does that make any sense?

You'll get the sense from this that I'm not all that computer savvy

I think, Papgeno, that you have made CT a favourite in your bookmarks and, like me, you are using password autofill to login. That all works like a dream on Safari and I think Merve will find the same if he switches to Safari but I found it is also necessary
to enable cookies for the sites I use.

That sounds about right TW but I'm still not clear how I managed to do it. As far as technology is concerned if I get stuck I've got two consultants one aged 20 and the other 9 ( grandsons)

You bookmark sites or pages by using the upload button - the square symbol with the up arrow in it.
