Simple but tasty food
I guess we all have off days where we can't be bothered to prep and cook full blown meals, and I bet when we are out in ours vans that statement is even more appropriate. However, there are some recipes around that are simple, tasty and keep you coming back
for more. So let me start off with one of my all time favourites. Hardly any preping, wonderful tasty ingredients and so simple even I can do it.
Take a packet of puff pastry and roll it out into a rough square of about 14" or larger if needed. Take a tin of red or pink salmon, remove any bones and break into bits and place on one side of the square leaving room around the edges to seal. Next open
a jar of Bearnaise sauce (told you it was simple) and spread liberally over salmon. Bring other half of square over to form an envelope and seal around edges. Bake on a baking sheet at Gas mark 5 until golden brown. Serve with corn on the cob soaked in butter
salt and pepper, and creamy mashed potato. That's it. If you don't want it again, there's something wrong with your taste buds. Now, let us know your quick and tasty ways to heaven.
