To all Isabella awning owners especially those who own a Magnum Porch We bought ours 2nd hand and as it was just a few months old and had only been used once, it was in excellent condition. Now, having said that, when we undid it to check it we found that
the previous owner had left the "one click" plastic fittings on the beading of the awning. At the time we dismissed it as lazyness but we have found out why he left them on - because they were the very devil to get off! Worse than that, trying to get them
on to the beading before being able to click them onto the poles is even worse. As it was a crimp on our breaks away (sweating blood to get the damn things on) we have today been to the nearest Isabella agent. (White Arches, Rushden)to see if it was the one
clicks or the beading on our awning. I am very pleased to report that the salesman couldn't get them on his awning either. What I want know is this. Has anyone else had a real problem with getting these mouldings on the beading of their awning? Isabella staff
have told me that they have never come across it before. The salesman said the same. Hang on a minute! This moulding comes off the same machine and is cut to length in the thousands. Now if mine are as tight as an engineers friction fit, there has to be others
who are suffering too! Do you have one click pieces that you have to bust a gut to get on?
