The most ridiculous tap ever fitted to a caravan?
Hello all. Now I'm not not a man to find fault where there isn't any but I have to say, of all the things that Bailey get right (yes, I know, that's a whole new discussion) the tap they fitted to the Valencia Mk 1 is one of those things they got terribly wrong! Why? I cant put up with it any longer For the simple reason that, having delivered the water to the sink, you are unable to swing it out of the way! It sits there like some annoying rod of useless metal just getting in the way. It's not as though the sink is big and Bailey have decided the best place for this obstruction should be bang in the middle of the sink so you have to retrieve water from one side of it or the other - rant over! However, I am now in the process of buying a a new tap and will pick it up at the show on Friday. Having looked at the fittings underneath, how the hell do you get a spanner in there to undo the tails. If anyone can help, I would be much obliged. Is there a special spanner or something you use or is it a case of skinning your knuckles to get what should have been a totally unnecessary job done?
